Oska Bright Film Festival 2026

Portrait of the Artist

Thursday 2 April • 2pm to 3:30pm

Brighton Dome Studio Theatre

An inside look at artists at work across painting, drawing, performance, dance and more. These films take us into studios, creative processes and conversations that challenge assumptions about learning disabled and autistic artists.

Book your tickets below and we’ll see you there!

After the screening, you are invited to join a free workshop led by artist Cian Binchy and Helen Bryer, Director of Take Part & Train at Access All Areas.

Workshop (3.40pm – 5pm) spaces are limited, so please book in advance.

Cian will share more about his work and creative process. You will also have the chance to try making your own work. Using themes from Cian’s show, ‘A Small Enclosed Room with Alfie Murphy’, the workshop will explore autobiography, autistic fantasy and masking. We will use poetry and movement to explore how neurodivergent experiences can lead to making great art.

This workshop is open to everyone but is particularly geared towards learning disabled, autistic and neurodivergent artists.

You can book for the workshop by emailing: helen@accessallareasproductions.org
