COMPETITION RULES AND GUIDLINES

Oska Bright Film Festival is the world’s leading festival for films made by, or featuring people with learning disabilities, autism or Asperger’s.

If you are a student at University of Brighton and you identify as having a learning disability, autism or Asperger’s, or you are collaborating with someone with a learning disability, autism or Asperger’s then you can enter the Oska Bright Film Festival Student Film Competition.

All shortlisted films will be screened at the Oska Bright Film Festival in Autumn 2019.

You can enter finished films, work in progress, scripts, storyboards or ideas in development.

Please contact the Oska Bright Film Festival team to register your interest in the competition. You will receive more information about how we can support you.

Deadline for entries: 31st July 2019.

AWARDS AND PRIZES

  • One to one development time with South East BFI NETWORK Talent Executive

  • Screening of your film in cinemas across the UK

  • Your film entered into Festivals across the UK as part of the Oska Bright Festival Tour

  • Your film screened at the Oska Bright Film Festival

  • Opportunity to take part in a special event presenting your work or work-in-progress at the Oska Bright Film Festival

  • Festival and an award presented to you by a film industry professional
